It carries items in 2–4 locked compartments, 10 kg per level, that open only with a PIN, phone number or NFC. It fits through 60 cm, navigates with VSLAM+ and LiDAR SLAM, also in semi-outdoor areas, and runs 9 h on one charge. LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy, handles lift and gate integration, mapping and training.
PUDU · Hotel and multi-floor delivery robot
Pudu FlashBot Max: hotel robot for room delivery across several floors
The FlashBot Max, the new generation of FlashBot, delivers to rooms, offices and wards: it takes the elevator, passes through doors and turnstiles and carries items in 2–4 closed compartments that open only with a PIN, phone number or NFC. It also works in semi-outdoor areas, such as gardens and poolsides. LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy, handles site survey, connection of elevators and passages, mapping and training.
Why choose it
All floors on its own
It calls the elevator and changes floors without an escort: with KONE and OTIS elevators also via the cloud, with no changes to the installation; for the others there is the PUDU control module.
Closed, secure compartments
The compartment opens only with the PIN, phone number verification or NFC: the delivery reaches only the person who is meant to receive it.
Modular compartments
2, 3 or 4 compartments to combine: single 187 × 410 × 280 mm or double 380 × 410 × 280 mm, for small or bulky orders.
Also semi-outdoors
PUDU VSLAM+ navigation takes it not only through corridors and lobbies but also into gardens, pool areas, terraces and gyms.
Choose it if…
- You need to deliver to rooms: room service, amenities, linen, parcels.
- The building has several floors and the robot must use the elevator and pass through doors or turnstiles on its own.
- You need confidential delivery, with closed compartments that open only for the recipient.
- You manage offices, residences, hospitals or care homes with frequent deliveries of everyday items and documents.
- Some routes pass through semi-outdoor areas, such as gardens or poolsides.

Where it works
The FlashBot Max is the PUDU robot for deliveries inside buildings, from one floor to another:
- Hotels and resorts: room service, amenities, linen and parcels right to the room door, at any hour; also in pool areas and gardens
- Hospitals, care homes and clinics: meals, linen and everyday items between wards and floors, in closed compartments
- Offices and office buildings: mail, parcels and documents delivered to the floors
- Residences and apartment buildings: parcels and deliveries from the front desk to the floors
- Schools and campuses: deliveries between buildings and floors, with closed compartments ventilated against odours
In hospitals and care homes we propose it for meals, linen, documents and non-critical items, not for drugs or clinical samples.

Secure delivery right to the door
Opening with PIN or phone
The recipient opens the compartment with the PIN or by verifying their phone number: nobody else can take what is inside.
Opening with NFC
Alternatively, the compartment opens by holding an NFC card to it.
Modular, ventilated compartments
2–4 compartments, single or double, with 10 kg per shelf. Continuous fan ventilation limits odours and bacteria during transport.
Elevators, passages and control
Elevators with no changes to the installation
With KONE and OTIS the FlashBot Max uses the elevator via the cloud; for other installations there is the PUDU control module, which does not connect to the elevator’s internal electronics.
3D obstacle perception
Fusion of several 3D sensors also detects low and overhanging obstacles, such as luggage and trolleys, and the robot recalculates its route.
Real-time control
With PUDU Link and the PUDU management platform you see the position and status of every robot and carry out remote maintenance.
Automatic doors and turnstiles are connected with the IoT passage control module, which requires a small intervention on the passage. The map of one floor is quickly replicated on the others.
How it is managed
Staff load it and set the destination, and the FlashBot Max does the rest:
Sending the delivery
Put the items in the compartment and set the destination and opening method: the robot sets off, takes the elevator and arrives at the door.
Several robots in the same building
From the PUDU management platform you distribute tasks among several robots and coordinate their routes, avoiding crowded areas.
Remote maintenance
Robot status, position and diagnostics are checked remotely with PUDU Link and the PUDU management platform.
Automatic charging
Up to 9 hours of battery life; it charges in 4 hours on the charging station, sold separately, or with the cable.
View product →PUDU OS: the software that keeps the FlashBot Max working
PUDU OS is the operating system of PUDU robots: it handles maps, navigation, tasks, updates and data. In practice:
Maps and navigation
PUDU VSLAM+ navigation with LiDAR SLAM, indoors and in semi-outdoor areas. We map one floor and replicate the map on the others; delivery points and routes can be changed when needed.
OTA updates
The robot software updates over the network: new PUDU features arrive without any hardware work.
PUDU Link, Pager and Watch
With the PUDU Link app you see status, tasks and battery of all your PUDU robots on a single screen and call them remotely. We confirm the compatibility of the PUDU Pager and PUDU Watch 4G call systems with the FlashBot Max for you.
Open Platform and PUDU Skill
With the Cloud API of the PUDU Open Platform, the hotel PMS, the hospital system or the building management software can send deliveries and receive the status in real time: there are no ready-made connectors for specific software, the integration is developed on the APIs. PUDU Skill, the PUDU package for AI coding tools, helps your developers write it faster.
A single PUDU ecosystem for cleaning, delivery and logistics: same app, same reports. As the distributor, we activate API access and support your IT team or integrator.
Data, security and compliance
A robot in your company must be safe for your data too. This is how it is protected:
Information security
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701 for privacy (certification body DNV): encrypted data, controlled access and a dedicated security department.
Privacy and GDPR
Cameras and sensors are used to find the way and avoid obstacles. We provide the privacy documentation for the model with the quote.
Data kept on site with PUDU Cloud Veil
If data must not leave the company, with PUDU Cloud Veil it runs locally or on your private cloud, without passing through PUDU servers. We define the configuration for your model in the quote.
CE marking and standards
The robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity.
Settings and working modes are password-protected: unauthorised staff cannot change them.

FlashBot Max is the name of the new generation of FlashBot, launched at the end of 2024. The main new feature is navigation in semi-outdoor areas too, such as gardens, pool areas and terraces; the closed compartments and autonomous use of elevators and turnstiles remain. The data on this page refer to the new generation: the first FlashBot, from 2021, had different dimensions and performance. The FlashBot Arm, with two arms, is a separate PUDU project: we will keep you updated on availability.
Yes, for deliveries between wards and floors: meals, linen, everyday items and documents, in closed, ventilated compartments that open only with a PIN, phone or NFC. Staff stay on the ward instead of going back and forth. We do not offer it for medicines or clinical samples. We check elevators and doors with the facility during the site survey.
It depends on what you carry and where. The BellaBot Pro is the waiter robot for the dining room: 4 trays of 10 kg, a stable chassis for soups and drinks and an 18.5" advertising screen; it fits through 65 cm. The KettyBot Pro is the most compact (55 cm): it welcomes customers, guides them to the table or shelf and advertises on its 18.5" screen, with 2 trays plus a compartment for dirty dishes. The PuduBot 2 has large 520 × 435 mm trays and dual LiDAR: it suits large dining rooms, canteens and production departments, but needs 80 cm passages and has no advertising screen. The FlashBot Max is the only one with closed compartments (PIN, phone number, NFC) and that uses elevators and turnstiles: it is the robot for hotels, offices and care homes on several floors, not for the dining room. During the site survey we tell you which one you need.
The first generation notified the guest with a phone call. For the FlashBot Max, if you need an alert on the guest’s mobile phone or on the room phone, we check with PUDU which solution suits your system before the quote.
The FlashBot Max measures 538 × 534 × 1052 mm, weighs 60 kg, fits through 60 cm and climbs thresholds up to 20 mm. During the site survey we measure corridors, doors, thresholds and the space in front of the elevator.
In semi-outdoor areas, yes: resort and hospital gardens, pool areas, terraces and gyms, thanks to PUDU VSLAM+ navigation. However, it is not a true outdoor robot: we assess routes outside the building during the site survey.
No: the FlashBot Max uses PUDU VSLAM+ navigation, which combines vision and laser without markers. We map one floor at installation and replicate the map on the others; if the layout changes, we update points and routes.
Up to 9 hours of runtime; charging takes 4 hours. It charges automatically at the charging station, sold separately, or with the cable.
Yes, with the IoT gate control module: it is fitted to the door or turnstile with a minor intervention and the robot opens them on its own. During the site survey we check every passage along the routes.
Yes. From the PUDU management platform you distribute tasks among several robots, coordinate their routes and avoid crowded areas; with PUDU Link you see the position and status of each one. The number of robots depends on floors, distances and delivery peaks: we estimate it with you during the site survey.
There are no ready-made connectors for a specific POS or PMS. The connection is made with the PUDU Open Platform (Cloud API): your system sends delivery tasks, reads the robots’ status and receives real-time updates via webhooks; usage statistics are also available. Typical use cases: POS and ERP in food service, PMS in hotels, hospital systems and building management. For developers there is the PUDU Skill, a package for AI programming tools that knows the up-to-date PUDU APIs. We activate API access as distributor and support your IT team or integrator.
LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy. We start with the site survey: passages, floors and thresholds, Wi‑Fi or 4G coverage, any doors and elevators; on request we organise a demo at your premises. At installation we create the map, set up tables or delivery points, calls and content, then train your staff. After start-up you have direct support throughout Italy, by phone and with remote access, and original PUDU spare parts.
Cameras and sensors are used for orientation and obstacle avoidance. PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 for information security and privacy. We provide the privacy documentation for the model with the quote; if data must stay on your premises, we assess PUDU Cloud Veil with you.
Yes. With PUDU Cloud Veil the data runs locally or on your private cloud and does not pass through PUDU servers: no data leakage at source and full control over the information, as required in environments with high confidentiality requirements. To connect the robot to your systems there is the PUDU Cloud Open API. We define the configuration and functions available for your model in the quote.
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 for privacy, verified by the certification body DNV. Data is encrypted and stored encrypted, access is limited to authorised personnel and a dedicated department oversees information security. Vulnerabilities are reported through an official channel. On the robot, settings and working modes are password-protected and the software is updated remotely.
Yes, every robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity, which we hand over with the robot together with the standards applied.
