Available in thread sizes M4, M5, M6, and M8, it supports a maximum load of 2200 N with a tightening torque of 10 Nm. Stainless steel construction combined with ESD compatibility makes it suitable for environments requiring corrosion resistance or electrostatic discharge control.

Swivel-in sliding block with spring, stainless steel
When a connection must withstand high forces, the sliding block is the right profile nut: it bears on a wide surface under the slot lips and distributes the load better than the T-nut. Slide it in from the profile end before closing the frame and move it to the mounting point. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component, in zinc-plated or stainless steel.
Why choose it
Withstands high forces
In slot C8 it reaches 6000 N versus 4000 N for the T-nut; in slot C10 up to 24000 N in the largest profiles.
Inserted from the end
Slide it in from the end of the profile and move it to the mounting point: it must be planned before closing the frame.
Stays where you put it
With the sliding block spring it stays in position in the slot, even on vertical uprights.
Zinc-plated or stainless
Zinc-plated steel for all slots; in slot C6 there is also a stainless steel version for damp environments.
Choose it if…
- The connection must withstand high forces
- You can insert the nuts before closing the frame
- You fit brackets, connectors and plates in load-bearing joints
- You need a stainless version in slot C6
Choose another solution if…
- You need to add an accessory to an already closed frame: Standard sliding block →
- A light fixing with front insertion is enough for you: T-nut →
- You want to make custom fixings with several threads: Sliding block profile, 1000 mm bar →
Not sure which profile to choose? Open the guide with the profile table →
What to use with the sliding block
Swivel-in sliding block
Goes in at the mounting point even in a closed frame.
Sliding block profile
1000 mm bar for custom fixings.
Always choose the sliding block for the same slot as the profile.
The LeanProducts service
From parts list to ready-to-assemble kit, with a single point of contact:
Cutting to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in your parts list.
Check of codes and quantities
We start from the parts list or a sketch: we check nuts, connectors, feet and accessories for every slot and every joint.
Ready-to-assemble kits
You receive cut profiles and accessories grouped by structure, with the component list.
Spare parts
When you modify or extend the structure we supply the same original components.
Send us the parts list or a photo of the structure: we reply with codes and quantities.

It depends on the profile, because it is the slot that yields: 11000 N in the 90x90SL, 12000 N in lightweight profiles such as 40x40L, 45x45L and 80x80L, 17000 N in 45x45, 60x60, 45x90 and 90x90L, 24000 N in large profiles such as 90x90 and 90x180. These are static limit values: apply your own safety factors.
The sliding block carries more but can only be inserted from the profile end, so you must plan it before assembling the frame. The T-nut goes in from the front at any point, even in a finished structure. Use the sliding block for the most heavily loaded joints, and the T-nut for accessories added later.
Not the standard sliding block, because it only enters from the end of the profile. Use the swivel-in sliding block, which is inserted directly at the mounting point and rotates into position when you start the screw: it carries less, but you do not have to dismantle the structure.
It is an assembly aid: it holds the sliding block in the slot where you place it, so it does not slip while you bring the accessory and screw up to it. It is especially useful on vertical uprights and long profiles.
Choose the thread of the screw of the accessory to be fixed. In slot C10 M8 is the thread that carries most; M5 and M6 are for lighter accessories such as guides and holders. In slot C6 you have M4 and M5.
On this product page the stainless version is for slot C6, with M4 and M5 thread. If you need a stainless sliding block for slot C8 or C10, ask us: we will check the code.
