Why choose it
Sweeps and scrubs in one pass
At the front the sweeping module collects dry dirt, at the back the scrubbing module scrubs and dries: one round instead of two machines.
It sees dirt and liquids
The AI recognises dry dirt and spilled liquids in real time: it retracts the sweeper over liquids, increases pressure on stains and doses the detergent.
Right to the edge
The extendable scrubbing brush reaches walls and shelving and reduces the strip that has to be cleaned by hand.
Ready 24/7 with the workstation
The optional workstation charges the robot, fills and drains the water and cleans itself: the BG1 works across several shifts without an operator.
Choose it if…
- You need to clean large hard floors: warehouses, plants, supermarkets, transport hubs, car parks
- The floor needs scrubbing, not just sweeping: liquids, stains, traffic marks
- You want to clean across several shifts, also at night, with a workstation connected to water and drain
- There are people and vehicles moving around and you need light and sound alerts
Choose another solution if…
- You want to work without an operator even with just the charging base, with 3D LiDAR and 1.2 m/s: Pudu BG1 PRO AI-Native Large Scrubber-Dryer Robot →
- Dry sweeping without water is all you need: Pudu MT1 Sweeping Cleaning Robot →
- You have medium-sized areas, passages under 85 cm or carpet: CC1 Pro AI-powered Autonomous Cleaning Robot →
- You need edges and touch-ups with an operator: Pudu SH1 Multifunctional Upright Scrubber Dryer →

Where it works
The BG1 is the PUDU scrubber-dryer robot for large indoor hard floors, including those with people and vehicle traffic:
- Warehouses and logistics: aisles between shelving, loading areas, cleaning across several shifts
- Production plants: large areas to sweep and scrub often, without taking staff away from production
- Supermarkets and large retail areas: long aisles, spilled liquids, cleaning before and after opening
- Transport hubs: airports and stations, with large areas and heavy footfall
- Underground car parks: lanes and parking spaces, with high ceilings and poor light
It is the large-area model in the PUDU cleaning range: CC1 for compact spaces, MT1 for medium ones, BG1 for large ones.

Cleaning with artificial intelligence
Targeted cleaning up to 6000 m²/h
The very wide field of view and machine vision detect the dirt: the robot acts where needed.
Spilled liquids
When it sees a liquid it retracts the side brush and roller brush so as not to spread it, then scrubs and dries.
Extendable brush
The scrubbing brush extends out of the machine body and scrubs right up to walls and shelving.
Detergent dosed to the millilitre
Two detergent tanks, about 7 L: the robot adjusts the dose according to the dirt and floor conditions.
Navigation, ride-on driving and station
LiDAR + 3D VSLAM
Fusion positioning between LiDAR and 3D vision for moving in large, complex environments, at 0.2–1.0 m/s.
Ride-on driving
With the optional ride-on kit, the foldable operator platform lets you drive it by hand: for the first map, long transfers and emergencies.
All-in-one workstation
Charging, clean-water filling, dirty-water draining and self-cleaning: without the workstation the BG1 is charged with the cable and the tanks are handled by hand.

How it is managed
You set up the job once, then the BG1 carries on by itself:
Scheduled cleaning
Choose areas, times and days: the robot starts on its own and, with the workstation, returns to charge and change the water.
PUDU Link app
Robot status, jobs and cleaning reports remotely, from the same app as the other PUDU robots.
Elevators, passages and pagers
With the optional elevator and E-gate control it works across several floors; it can be called with a pager.
Alerts for people and vehicles
Light and sound signals warn pedestrians and forklift drivers when the robot is moving.
PUDU OS: the software that drives the BG1
The PUDU operating system manages maps, routes and data: it is the same software as the other PUDU robots.
Maps and navigation
Area maps, route calculation and obstacle avoidance; the first map is created by driving the robot ride-on.
OTA updates
The robot software updates over the network, without any work on the machine.
Several robots, one app
With PUDU Link you see status, jobs and battery of all PUDU robots on one screen, and change tasks and schedules.
Open Platform and PUDU Skill
The PUDU Open Platform (Cloud API) brings tasks, status and statistics into your systems, such as WMS and ERP; PUDU Skill helps your developer write the integration faster with AI coding tools.
A single PUDU ecosystem for cleaning, delivery and logistics: same app, same reports. We check with PUDU the API functions available for the BG1 for your project; access goes through the distributor.
Maintenance in under a minute
Automatic disc brush
The disc brush attaches itself: no tools and no awkward positions for staff.
Quick-fit consumables
Disc brush or pad, side brush, roller brush and squeegee blades are changed in a few seconds.
5 L waste bin
The sweeping module collects dry dirt in a bin to be emptied at the end of the round.
Replacement intervals depend on floor and working hours: we define them with you and supply original spare parts.
Data, security and compliance
A robot in your company must be safe for your data too. This is how it is protected:

Pudu Robotics
|
It is PUDU’s floor scrubber-dryer robot for large areas: at the front it sweeps and collects dry dirt, at the back it scrubs and dries, all in one pass. It works autonomously with maps and programmes, recognises dirt and liquids with artificial intelligence and, with the station, recharges and handles water on its own. It is available in two versions, BG1 and BG1 Pro.
There are four differences. The BG1 Pro navigates with 3D LiDAR, the BG1 with standard LiDAR; the Pro reaches 1.2 m/s, the BG1 1.0 m/s; the Pro climbs bumps up to 70 mm, the BG1 obstacles up to 25 mm; the Pro works without an operator even with just the charging base, while the BG1 requires the workstation to work on its own. The BG1 Pro is designed above all for car parks and large areas, with vehicle recognition. Everything else is the same: cleaning width, tanks, runtime and output.
On hard indoor floors, such as those of warehouses, factories, supermarkets and car parks. It sweeps dry dirt and wet-scrubs in the same pass; with the optional modules it also does dust mopping and polishing. For carpets and rugs the Pudu CC1 is the right choice. During the site survey we check floor type, joints and slopes with you.
The optional all-in-one workstation charges the robot, fills clean water, drains dirty water and cleans itself: this way the robot stays ready 24 hours a day. For this it must be connected to water, drain and power. Without the workstation the tanks are filled and emptied by hand. We define position and connections with you during the site survey.
Yes. You schedule areas and times and the robot starts on its own. To work without an operator the BG1 uses the workstation, which provides charging and water. The BG1 Pro can work without an operator even with just the charging base: in that case water is filled and drained by hand.
It measures 1195 × 760 × 1303 mm with the squeegee and weighs about 344 kg; a passage of at least 85 cm is needed. The BG1 climbs obstacles up to 25 mm, the BG1 Pro bumps up to 70 mm. We check slopes with you during the site survey, together with ramps, joints and gratings.
Yes, with the optional elevator and E-gate (automatic gates and doors) control it can work on several floors. It can also be called with a pager. We check compatibility with your installations during the site survey.
It has two detergent tanks, about 7 L in total, and mixes and doses them automatically to the millilitre according to the type of dirt and the condition of the floor: you use only the product you need. You can combine, for example, acidic and alkaline detergent, detergent and disinfectant, detergent and anti-foam or detergent and deodoriser. We recommend the right detergents for your floor.
Little and quick: the disc brush hooks on automatically and the consumables are quick-fit, for routine maintenance in less than a minute. The consumables are disc brush or scrubbing pad, side brush, sweeping roller brush and squeegee blades, also in an oil-resistant version. Replacement intervals depend on use: we define them with you and supply the spare parts.
The robot communicates via 4G, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth. You set areas and times and monitor status and jobs with the PUDU Link app, the same as for the other PUDU robots, with cleaning reports. During the analysis phase we check network coverage along the routes with you.
The PUDU Open Platform (Cloud API) connects PUDU cleaning robots to company systems: tasks, status, real-time alerts and statistics. To write the integration faster there is the PUDU Skill, a package for AI programming tools that knows the up-to-date PUDU APIs. For the BG1 we check the available functions with PUDU; access goes through the distributor: we activate it and support your IT team or integrator.
It depends on the dirt. The MT1 dry-sweeps large areas, up to 1800 m²/h, and uses no water. The BG1 sweeps and scrubs in the same pass, handles liquids and stains and, with the workstation, works 24 hours a day. If you have dust and dry debris, an MT1 is enough; if the floor needs scrubbing, you need the BG1. The robots can also hand work over to each other: with Summon Cleaning one records the stains and assigns the task to another. We calculate how many robots you need with you, based on square metres, shifts and type of dirt.
LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy, handles surface analysis and site survey, station installation, mapping, staff training and support with spare parts. On request we organise a demo.
Cameras and sensors are used for orientation and obstacle avoidance. PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 for information security and privacy. We provide the privacy documentation for the model with the quote; if data must stay on your premises, we assess PUDU Cloud Veil with you.
Yes. With PUDU Cloud Veil the data runs locally or on your private cloud and does not pass through PUDU servers: no data leakage at source and full control over the information, as required in environments with high confidentiality requirements. To connect the robot to your systems there is the PUDU Cloud Open API. We define the configuration and functions available for your model in the quote.
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 for privacy, verified by the certification body DNV. Data is encrypted and stored encrypted, access is limited to authorised personnel and a dedicated department oversees information security. Vulnerabilities are reported through an official channel. On the robot, settings and working modes are password-protected and the software is updated remotely.
Yes, every robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity. The CC1 Pro is certified to IEC 63327, the safety standard for automatic floor-cleaning machines for commercial use. For the other models we provide the declaration and the standards applied with the quote.
